In 2013, Shaina had the crazy idea to ask a celebrity to her sorority formal. That crazy idea turned into a viral one when Shaina's YouTube video asking Joe Jonas to her dance was featured on The Today Show, Good Morning Malibu, Perez Hilton's website, MSNBC, the LA Times and the Malibu Times.

Joe Jonas hilariously responded with an invite to their concert in Chicago where she met Kevin Jonas Sr. She worked for the Jonas Group for 5 years, working in tv/film and artist development.

Shaina is represented by the Jonas Group and Lotus Lane Literary as a writer and is currently pitching a novel about her grandparents' experiences during WWII (and it's AMAZING).

She lives in Nashville with her husband, Matt, and their rambunctious puppy, Remi, who learned how to give her paw and now does it every time she wants something.
